Description of the Haunted History Tours. Scroll down

Come take a walk with local historians as they lead you through the most macabre parts of Barberton. Set out to explore the O.C. Barber barns that were orphaned by a city that couldn’t see the future. On these tours, Steve Kelleher, president of the Barberton Historical Society, will light the way through this dark and forgotten history. Or join two guides downtown who will lead you through a portal in time to share stories from Barberton’s dark heyday.

Though we have not lost a visitor yet, please be warned that walking on both tours can be treacherous. We encourage you to bring cameras and any ghost hunting equipment you like. Also, flashlights are a great idea! But don’t bring the kids! As you’ll hear on the barn tour, this city may have lost children before. Both tours last about an hour and a half.
