Description of the Haunted History Tours.
The tours sponsored by the Barberton Herald and the Barberton Historical Society are a fun event for mature audiences. Children should be discouraged to attend. The tours consist of mainly walking, so one should be in good health to enjoy an evening walk. The tours will be given with rain or shine and will not be rescheduled due to weather.
The tours are filled with local history and legend. Guides have studied Barberton and the haunted happenings throughout the town. This tour is not predisposition to have a ghost appearance. That may or may not happen. The guides will take you to the most haunted areas of historic downtown Barberton and through the Historic O. C. Barber Farm. Whether the ghost decide to show up is anyone guess. Past guests have had recordable distinct temperature changes, unexplainable images appear in professional photographs and voices on EVP recordings. You are encouraged to bring your own ghost hunting equipment as well as cameras. If you have questions regarding the tours, please contact the Barberton Herald or the Barberton Historical Society before purchasing your tickets.

Ticket prices are $15.00 for tour only. No meals will be included in the 2009 season ticket prices. A total of thirty tickets will be available for each tour. New stories and surprises have already been planned for the 2009 season. This is a very popular tour and ticket sales usually sell out. Be sure to purchase tickets early in order to save your spot.
Please be sure to bring your tickets. If you need to purchase tickets you may do so at the Herald office or online.
